Public Access

It is now possible for members of public, organisations and businesses to instruct a barrister directly. This new approach allows the preliminary work usually carried out by a solicitor to be undertaken by yourself, leading to the appointment of a barrister of your choice.

This means you get specialist representation, avoid possible duplication of time and benefit with potential cost reductions.

Getting ‘direct access’ to barristers could lead to a higher quality of service, this coupled with lower costs associated with barristers chambers could prove to be a more effective solution.
